At Volley iQ, you’re not just getting a coach. YOU are gaining access to one of the most decorated careers in volleyball.

My name is Marco Meoni and I’ve reached the pinnacle of this incredible sport. As a World Champion, 3x Olympian with two medals and 3x European Champion, I’ve competed at the highest level possible. I’ve also claimed four World League titles, a World Cup, the Champions League, two CEV European Cups and numerous other championships, while earning “Best Setter” honors along the way.

Fortunately, my expertise goes beyond my playing career. I’ve spent years coaching not only young athletes, but also professional and college players and teams, while helping them refine their skills and elevating their performance. My coaching methods are enriched by my strong global network of connections with the best coaches in the world, who are not just colleagues, but close friends. This collaboration keeps me at the forefront of modern volleyball strategies and training techniques, allowing me to deliver world-class coaching to every athlete I work with.

Now based in Houston, I combine my extensive “in-game” experience with the latest in biomechanics and motor learning. At Volley iQ, I strive to help athletes of all levels—whether they are youth players, college athletes, or professionals, I want to unlock their full potential. Every session is a blend of proven success and cutting-edge training, designed to prepare players and teams for the challenges of the highest levels of competition.

At the heart of Volley iQ and my personal philosophy is the Olympic motto:

But this phrase carries a deeper meaning beyond its simple translation.
Citius is about quicker thinking and strategic decision-making, essential for overcoming challenges on the court.
Altius represents aiming higher, ethically and morally. It stands for integrity, fair play, and respect for both the game and others—values that define true sportsmanship.
Fortius reflects physical strength, developed through rigorous training and dedication, but also the emotional and mental toughness to persevere.
This motto captures the essence of growth, not just as an athlete, but as a complete individual, and it’s a guiding principle in everything we do at Volley iQ.
